"Thisis how I outline my screenplay" - RynoRyder's Vlog Ep. 029

I haven't written anything from scratch in about one year.  When I am able to get into that zone and start writing something new, it is the absolute happiest place I can be, mentally.

The problem is, I've been trying to value my time more to not just keep writing "for free".  But, when inspiration meets opportunity, sometimes you have to jump and go all in.

That's what I've started doing and that's why I wanted to create this vlog for you all today.  I want to show you all the process of how my brain works and how I create and build stories.

"Trying to tell a story without a script." AUDIO COMMENTARY - Short Fil...

Here's another commentary for my short film, "Apocalypse:  The Drunk."

My purpose behind putting these pieces of content out is to give any insight and perspective to ANY aspiring filmmaker, artist, creative, just to let you know a bit about what goes through my head and the reasons behind the choices I make, artisticly.  Even if sometimes those choices don't neccessarily work out in the end.

The important thing, is to not judge or blame yourself from them, but to learn and move onto the next.  To quote a menotr of mine, "You're only as good as your last at bat."  :)

Please enjoy!

"How to make a short film with zero budget." - AUDIO COMMENTARY by Write...

Been talking about doing these for a while now and finally decided to make one.  Because I got such a good feedback about me posting the different audio commentaries for my feature film, EVIDENCE, I thought people could gain some value by me doing an audio/video commentary for each of my short films I have on my channel.

You can't get more guerrilla than this one.  We shot during "magic hour" and only had about 20-25 minutes to film everything to keep the look we were going for.  There were literally 4-5 people, cast included, on set that day.  We rehearsed and rehearsed and then when the time was right, we got the shots.

This is probably my favorite of the three shorts, although technically not the best.  But, I love the grittiness and dirt of not just this story, but the character herself.

Look forward to more of these commentaries soon.  Thank you for watching, and please comment your thoughts below and share this video with friends.  Thanks!
